The Truth For All (TTFA) is a non-profit training center that provides group Bible study in Rockville, Maryland, which was founded in the state of Maryland in 2016. We are asking for your support as our desire is to open a seminary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The primary objective of the seminary is to be the spreading of the word of the gospel. This is a project we have dreamed about, planned, and prayed for over the last seven years.
Ethiopia is a country that is located on the Horn of Africa. It has an estimated population of 96 million and, at 435,000 square miles, is larger than France and Germany combined. It is one of the oldest nations on earth and remained largely independent during the colonization of the African continent from the 18th to 20th century.
Ethiopia is a youthful nation, with an estimated 65% of the population younger than 25 years of age. Its economy is largely agrarian, but it has a rapidly expanding manufacturing sector and its urban centers are expanding at a fast clip. According to the World Bank, the Ethiopian economy has registered growth in excess of 8% every year for the last ten years
The main religions in Ethiopia are Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Paganism. Ethiopia is a predominantly Christian country with the majority of Christians being Orthodox Tewahedo Christians, who belong to the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. There are a minority of Christians who are Roman Catholic or Protestant. The evangelical Christian today faces three major challenges in Ethiopia – radical Islam, Ethiopian Orthodox Church (EOC), and Evangelical identity crisis.
The Truth For All works with Covenant Theological Seminary (CTS). CTS is a sustaining member of the Florida Council of Private Colleges, the Council of Private Colleges of America, and the Association of Christian Schools International. CTS offers graduate-level degrees in Master of Theological Studies and Master of Biblical Studies.
